Custom Spice Drawer Organization | Client Space
We share SO many of our home organization projects and transformations on our Instagram page, and there’s typically a lot to take in! We organize every inch of the space, and get asked a ton about specific products and requests for links. I’ve decided to begin breaking down each project in short, bite-sized pieces here on the blog with the links to the products we’ve used.
First up, this recent spice drawer we organized as part of our full kitchen and pantry in-home organization service for our client. We used products from 3 different vendors to accomplish the desired aesthetic.
Here’s a look at the drawer we decided to convert to the spice drawer. This decision was made based on the layout of the kitchen. This drawer was wide enough to contain her collection of spices, and is located directly behind the stove allowing for easy access when cooking. We moved the cutting boards, towels, and oven mitts to another spot that was more convenient for those items.

Here are the products we used:
JARS FROM IKEA
Please note that these jars are open do not have the sprinkle lid of most spice jars. I will link another option if you prefer that.
DRAWER INSERT FROM AMAZON
We cut this drawer insert to fit our client’s drawer. This particular product is made to be cut with a table saw. Be warned, Home Depot and Lowe’s will not help you with the cutting. We had to beg and use puppy dog eyes and promise not to get mad if they messed it up.
LABELS FROM ETSY
Our client wanted a very minimal look for her labels.
And here’s how it turned out. Our client was highly pleased, and so were we! 🙂
