2 Ways to Organize Your Linen Closet Using an Elfa Door Rack
The dreaded linen closet. Ok, not to be overly dramatic but my linen closet received zero love when it came to organizing my home. When The Container Store reached out about their annual Elfa Sale going on now (all things Elfa are 30% off!), I knew it was just the area I wanted to tackle. As professional organizers, we’re no stranger to the Elfa Door and Wall rack, and recently showed some of the ways we’ve used them to give our client’s more space and functionality. So when it came time to plan how I wanted to use some new Elfa goodies, I knew I wanted to add in a door rack and transform my linen closet. *Affiliate links used*
Here’s where things started.
Side note: the “organization” you see here reflect the linen closet organization I had at my previous house…3 years ago. I just brought the baskets over and threw them in here. No effort to organize this space was given until now.
And as for the door, there was nothing on it whatsoever.
In addition to the Elfa Door rack, here are the products I used to reorganize my personal linen closet.
As the title of this post states, I am showing you two different ways to use the door rack. For the first option, I kept it simple with the following products.
Inside the closet I used these baskets for my sheets and towels. I used the smaller version of the same basket a couple rows down for items like combs, brushes, scarves, and hand towels. On the bottom shelf I used these large plastic bins with dividers for all of our hair products and back stock items. The decor items were purchased at HomeGoods.

HERE’S THE SECOND SETUP
For the second setup, I used the Elfa door rack for all of the hair and back stock products I originally had on the bottom row. This is an excellent option for those that need the added storage.
